Sarah Ferguson reportedly once paid £65k for a personal trainer that she only saw on just two occasions one year, it has been claimed. Andrew Mountbatten Windsor's ex-wife has been known over the years for not making the best financial choices, which have sometimes resulted in her incurring massive debts.
One of these unwise financial choices made by Sarah, 65, including spending beyond her means or on unnecessary purchases. One of these was a personal trainer, who she paid £65,000 to.
This was claimed in Andrew Lownie's new biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York.
Lownie said that the former Duchess paid this extravagant amount for a personal trainer who was on permanent standby.
Sarah reportedly only used their services on just two occasions in one year.
This is not something the former Duchess has ever addressed herself.
Lownie also claimed in the book that having a personal trainer, who she rarely used, was not the only extravagant outgoing she had.
At one moment in time, Sarah reportedly had spent £14,000 in a month at a London wine merchant.
While it is believed she is much more careful with her money now, this is soon to be a necessity for Sarah.
Over the next few months, Sarah will be moving out of Royal Lodge - the mansion she shares with ex-husband Andrew - and making her own arrangements.
This will mean she will most likely need to be more watchful over what she spends her money on if she is really to part all ties with her ex-husband.
