The Indian Air Force has issued a short notice for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). The application process will begin today, November 10, 2025.
IAF Vacancy Age Limit: What is the age limit?
To apply for this Indian Air Force recruitment, candidates must be between 20 and 24 years of age. Candidates applying for Ground Duty Technical/Non-Technical positions must be between 20 and 26 years of age.
IAF Vacancy Eligibility: Graduates Can Apply
To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have passed 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and must have a graduate degree in Engineering or Technology with at least 60 percent marks.
IAF Vacancy Application Fees: Application Fees
To apply, all candidates must pay an application fee. Candidates in all categories must pay an application fee of ₹550 + GST. However, candidates applying for NCC entry are not required to pay any application fee.
IAF Vacancy Selection Process: How will the selection process be conducted?
To be selected under this recruitment, candidates will first have to take a written exam. This will be followed by an Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview and a medical examination.
AFCAT Exam Pattern: Exam Pattern
The AFCAT written exam is worth 300 marks. The exam lasts two hours. A total of 100 questions are asked. The written exam includes questions from various subjects such as General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test. This exam also has negative marking.
